NEWS UPDATE: IFCD 3 Retains 2020 Tax Rate In 2021
At a public hearing held Monday, September 13, 2021, the IFCD 3 board adopted an operations and maintenance tax rate of $.1236 per $100 of true valuation for operations and maintenance for the 2021 tax year.
“The IFCD 3 team continues its focus on careful planning and operational excellence, which enabled the District to retain the 2020 tax rate for the 2021 tax year,” said Chris Calvery, president of the IFCD 3 board. “We’ll continue to apply proven practices and methods to continue our effectiveness in flood control, while looking for innovative technologies to support overall operational efficiency.”
As always, property owners should note that individual tax bills based on the adopted rate may increase or decrease, depending on any change in the taxable value of their property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property in the District. This relationship determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.
