iRVING FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT SECTION III FACT SHEET

 

PURPOSE

Irving Flood Control District III (IFCD 3) is responsible for preventing floods, and preserving the high quality of life provided in the Valley Ranch Community located in Irving, Texas. While providing an attractive setting for Valley Ranch, the hills and valleys of the area are such that some portions of the community have the potential for flooding as a result of heavy rains. IFCD 3 provides for the creation and maintenance of waterways and facilities that help protect the people and property assets in Valley Ranch from these storms.

Meeting dates, times, locations and agendas are posted in compliance with state law. All meetings are open to the public in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
