IFCD 3

  • 1983 – When IFCD 3 was formed by the Texas State Legislature.
  • 5.5 – Miles of waterways that IFCD 3 has created or maintained since our founding.
  • 5 – Citizens and property owners of Valley Ranch that serve on IFCD 3’s board of directors.
  • 30,000 – Residents and businesses across Valley Ranch that are served by IFCD 3.
  • 730 – Acre-feet of water capable of being held by our waterways.
  • 418 – Feet the Elm Fork water levels must rise to trigger the closure of IFCD 3’s pump station sluice gates.
  • 365 – Days per year that IFCD 3 is up and running.
  • 26 – Employees of the Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District that deliver overall design, maintenance and operations support to IFCD 3 through an inter-local agreement between the two organizations.
