Seven Things IFCD 3 is Grateful For
November is a time for thanks. Whether it be the family around the table, the nature around us or the blessing of community, there are many things within Valley Ranch that remind us how fortunate we are. In recognition of the upcoming holiday, we’re sharing a few things for which IFCD 3 is thankful.
- The natural beauty within Valley Ranch – Our community is filled with streams, trees, and beautiful plants that make us forget we’re so close to the concrete of downtown Dallas.
- Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District (DCURD) – Much of our success is the result of their operations and maintenance support, delivered daily by a range of DCURD.
- The City of Irving – In addition to providing the foundation of our governance, the city provides general construction, maintenance and repair for streets, sidewalks, storm and sanitary sewers, supporting the protection of IFCD 3’s waterways.
- Valley Ranch Associations – The residential, commercial and master boards of VRA oversee nearly all of the property that makes up the common areas of Valley Ranch – VRA’s volunteers and professionals ensure that Valley Ranch stays beautiful.
- Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) – Speaking of beautiful… KIB ensures that the City of Irving continues to be one of the most attractive places to live across North Texas.
- Local Schools – Valley Ranch Elementary, Richard J. Lee Elementary and Canyon Ranch Elementary hold a special place in our hearts, thanks to their key involvement in flood-related curriculum we provide in second- and third-grade classrooms.
- The community as a whole – From our own team to suppliers, contractors, other professionals and the community at-large, thank you... IFCD 3 would not run smoothly without you!
As we continue this season of thanks, let us know about the people and things for which you are grateful. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
